Liminality

This download contains looped music files for video games, film, tv, web, and other uses.

Bonfires, save rooms, pause screens, inventory screens: these are the liminal spaces in video games. These are the times where we take a break from the action and rest, reorganize, and plan the journey ahead.

The Red Means Recording Discord was challenged with making music for liminal situations, inspired by the concept of the Save Room (like in the Resident Evil games).

The scope was broadened to really include any sort of liminal state, some in horror, some peaceful. 

This collection of music represents different liminal spaces you could find yourself in within a game or life.

You may use these pieces of music in your projects, including games, videos, etc, even montised projects, as long as proper attribution is included in the description of the project for the original author of the piece you are using.
